Co-founder & Director
Talat Ahmed
MBBS · MRCGP · PGDip Clinical Dermatology (Distinction)
A GP partner in East London who builds focused software with the discipline he brings to the consulting room — scoped tightly, designed with care, judged by whether it helps the person on the other end.

Practice
Talat is a GP Partner in Tower Hamlets, East London, where he has built his career caring for one of the most diverse and underserved communities in the country. He qualified from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, trained through the Wales Deanery and the East of England, and holds membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology, with distinction, from Queen Mary University of London.
His clinical work runs broad. He uses dermoscopy and skin-lesion assessment daily — skills honed alongside consultant dermatologists at the Royal London and Whipps Cross — holds an extended role in substance misuse across the secure estate, and has spent years in minor surgery, urgent care, and out-of-hours medicine across East London. His dermatology has reached beyond the NHS, too: he has worked with L'Oréal across several of its skincare brands. Throughout, he teaches the clinicians around him — nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician associates, and medical students.

Service & policy
He serves as the RCGP's Lead College Representative for Adult Health — a voluntary national role that channels front-line problems into the college's policy work, and one that has brought an invitation to a parliamentary forum at the House of Commons.
//03
Building
Beyond the clinic, he builds and runs companies. Since 2017 he has directed Red Hood Limited — a studio for 'digital instruments,' building focused tools across medicine, health, and reflection — and founded the dermoscopy platform BorelliScopie and the phlebotomy-theory platform PhlebMastery in the same spirit.
That instinct, with a working interest in digital health and the safe use of AI in general practice, is what he brings to Arcshore. He co-founded it to build focused software products with the discipline he brings to the consulting room: scoped tightly, designed with care, and judged by whether they genuinely help the person on the other end.
